NEEDLES:
Circular needles, 16 in (40 cm), in two sizes:
❖ US 5 / 3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
❖ US 3 / 3.25 mm or two sizes smaller than main needles
A set of double-pointed needles or longer circular needles in the same size as the main needles can be used for the crown shaping
GAUGE:
❖ 20 sts and 30 rnds = 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette stitch in the round, blocked
