The sweater should have a movement leeway ('positive ease') of about 10 - 15 cm to the body. If you like it oversized, you can plan a little more 'positive ease' and knit a size larger

Yarn:
400 (400) 450 (500) 550 (600) g 'Ulysse' from De Rerum Natura (100% virgin wool; LL 185 m/ 50 g)

Or
300 (325) 350 (375) 400 (425) g  'Como' by Lamana (100% virgin wool; LL 120 m/ 25 g)

Needles:
For the qualities 'Ulysse':
Circular knitting needle 4.0 mm / 50 cm, 80 cm and 100-120 cm,
Circular knitting needle 3.0 mm / 50-60 cm for the cuff on the neck, 80-100 cm for the cuff on the torso,
Needle play 3.0 mm for the cuffs (unless it is used with the 'Magic Loop method').

For the quality 'Como':
Circular knitting needle 3.5 mm / 50 cm, 80 cm and 100-120 cm,
Circular knitting needle 3.0 mm / 50-60 cm for the cuff on the neck, 80-100 cm for the cuff on the torso,
Needle play 3.0 mm for the cuffs (unless it is used with the 'Magic Loop method').

Tension check:
Half patent in rows with Nd 4.0 mm: 19 - 20 M x 42 - 44 R = 10 x 10 cm, measured slightly stretched and lying after washing.
If necessary, select a different needle size to adjust the stitch samples.
For the quality 'Como', it is recommended, for example, to go down half a needle size (3.5 mm), because the yarn is less twisted and elastic. As a result, the pattern is more in width/length.
