Ella's inspiration for this beautiful tam - Since I began collecting vintage Shetland knitwear from local charity shops I have longed to find a particular kind of beret that I kept seeing in old knitting books. But the perfect vintage beret has so far eluded me, so I decided to make my own. 

A really fun knit you will find hard to put down.
