Benno Hat by Susanne Müller
Benno Hat by Susanne Müller
The simple pompom hat in a 2/2 ribbed pattern can be worn by both women and men and is guaranteed to keep you nice and warm thanks to the double turn-up cuff. If you like it less playful, you can also leave out the pompoms.
The hat is knitted from bottom to top in rounds on a short circular knitting needle, with the stitches for the double cuff being provisionally casted on. The provisional cast-on is dissolved again when the cuff is doubled and fixed by knitting together. The decreases at the tip of the cap are worked on a double pointed needles.
Techniques used: Provisional cast-on, left and right inclined decreases. All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions.
